Kevin Guinn was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was raised in the small town of LaRussell Missouri. Growing up on Spring River he spent a lot of time with his brother and friends running up and the river and bluffs; this opened his eyes to wildlife.

Kevin began drawing as a child, having a great Aunt that was an artist to encourage him, he countinued to draw through high school. He is a self-taught artist who loves to enter wildlife stamp competitions.

Kevin
has won many local and regional awards, including 2 honorable mentions
in the Missouri Trout stamp competition, 5th place in 1999 Nevada Trout
Stamp competition, and 9th place in the 1999 Nevada Duck Stamp competition.
In 1992, he won the Missouri Duck stamp competition. |
